In 1975, Trimurti was created by a small group of young Mauritian intellectuals, sharing the same values and vision. The main objective of Trimurti is to promote social, cultural, moral and educational development of members and their families.

All founder members and most of the members of Trimurti are now growing old. To ensure the continuity of the association, a young generation of Trimurti members including women members have been created. They are expected to be the future leaders of the association.

In November 2020, the 45th anniversary of its creation was celebrated. On this special occasion, a video clip on Trimurti was launched by H.E the High Commissioner of India, Shri Tanmaya Lal. The video clip is now available on YouTube by typing “Trimurti 45th anniversary” on YouTube.

This year, Trimurti will be 48 years old. As part of our effective communication strategy and in order to create a better awareness of our goals, objectives and activities, the Vision and Mission Statement of Trimurti has been formulated and a website created. I hope that the website will achieve its expected results.
